GLEN BEEBE
Glen Beebe, 59, of Beaverton, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 1997 at the MidMichigan Regional Medical Center-Midland after a short illness. Born Jan. 22, 1937 in Gladwin, he had been employed by the Beaverton Post Office as a letter carrier. Mr. Beebe married the former Ruth Ann Mitchell, July 17, 1965 in Beaverton. He was a member of Avid Outdoorsman and a hunting, fishing and horse enthusiat.
Besides his wife he is survived by one son, Darrin of Bay City; one daughter, Glenda and husband John Bair of Beaverton; two brothers, Burke and wife Mabel of Gladwin, Carl and wife Pauline of Dundee; three sisters, Joy and husband Bill Curtis of Gladwin, Irma and husband Ted Reger of Farwell and Clara and husband Wayne Gaims of Auburn; and one grandson, Carvin Bair of Beaverton. He was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Beebe.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton with the Rev. David Stewart officiating. Burial was in the Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery, Beaverton. those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Gladwin County 4-H Horse Club..
