Kenneth Becker
Kenneth A. Becker, 56, of Gladwin, died suddenly July 4, 2005 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Gladwin. He was born Nov. 21, 1948 in Warren to Raymond and Bernice (Nixon) Becker. He married Gloria Cox on Feb. 27, 1971 in Clawson. He moved to Gladwin County in 1973, having previously resided in Troy. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict. He was manager of the Zettel Memorial Airport for the past six years. He was a flight instructor for Gladwin Air. He also served as a trustee on the Hay Township board for many years and he loved to farm. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Becker of Gladwin; a daughter, Dawn Becker of Gladwin; a son, Jason Becker of Gladwin; his parents, Raymond and Bernice Becker of Gladwin; a brother, James (Denise) Becker of Gladwin; two sisters, Patricia (Norman) Anderson of National City and Janette Zeleny of Troy; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were handled by Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin.
