ILLNESS FATAL TO FOREST BAIN


  Forest M. Bain, 70 died Friday at Gladwin following a short illness. A former tool and die maker with General Motors Truck and Coach Co., he came to Gladwin County from Pontiac five years ago. He was born on Oct. 21, 1892 in Groveland Township, Oakland County, was married to his wife, Edith, who survives him, in Kentucky in 1952. He lived at Wooden Shoe Village.

  Survivors besides his wife are seven son, Kenneth, of Pontiac, Donald, of Drayton Plains, Herman of Coal Valley, Ill., Norman, of Grand Blanc, Willard, of Washington, Francis of Hartland, and Milton, of Argentine; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Forys, of Clifford, and Mrs. Edna Brooks, of Davisburg, a step-daughter, Mrs. Edith Moncrieff, of Pontiac; two brothers, Claude of Detroit, and Ivan, of Pontiac; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Adams and Mrs. Iola Walters, of Waterford; and 24 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home with Rev. Gordon Showers officiating. Burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
