Charles Bailey
CHARLES BAILEY
Charles F. Bailey, 61, of 4666 Klender Rd., Rhodes, died Friday, Sept. 15, in the Midland Hospital Center following a long illness. Born in Detroit on October 24, 1916, he was retired from the Detroit and Mackinaw Railroad. A veteran of World War II, he moved to Gladwin County three years ago from Tawas. Mr. Bailey was a member of the American Legion Post 274 in Oscoda.
He was married to the former Florence Zaranko on July 28, 1945, in Detroit. She survived him. Rites were held Monday at 10 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. Burial was in the Billings Cemetery..
