Floyd Badger
SERVICES HELD FOR FLOYD BADGER

   Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home for Floyd A. Badger, 71, who died at his Grout Township home on Thursday following a short illness. The Rev. Arthur Whisler officiated and burial was in Highland Cemetery. Born in Langford, S.D., on July 7, 1890, he came to Gladwin County 59 years ago to farm in Grout Township. He was married to the former Dorothy Hoke on Nov. 26, 1925, in Beaverton. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the Gladwin County Farm Bureau.

   Survivors include his widow, Dorothy; two daughters, Mrs. Retha Beall of Bay City and Mrs. Roberts Young of St. Johns; two sons, William of Midland and Gilbert of Gladwin; two foster children, Lester Jubenville of Hazel Park and Mrs. Jane Cameron of Clio; two sisters, Mrs. Marion Roziskey of Rochester, N.Y., and Mrs. Gladyce Hardman of San Francisco, Calif.; and 14 grandchildren.
