Luida E. Babcock
MRS. JOHN LEVANDOSKI
Luida E. Babcock was born in Gladwin, Michigan,
July 28, 1895, and died at her home in Rhodes, March
20, 1921. Her early life was spent in Gladwin where
she attended school. Later she was united in marriage
to John Levandoski at Bentley, August 30, 1916. To
this union three children, one boy and two girls were
born. One child, Iva Marguerite, preceded her mother
to the better world, having died in infancy.
She leaves to mourn their loss her husband, John
Levandoski, and one son, John Eldon, aged about four
years, and one daughter, Evelyn Mary, aged 1 year and
5 months; also her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs.
Orlo Babcock of near Alger; three sisters, Mrs. John
Doan of near Gladwin and Kate and Flossie of Alger;
thee brothers, Arthur and Hazen of Alger and Leonard
of Bentley.
Her death came as a great shock to a host of
relatives and friends to whom she endeared herself
during her life.
"Servant of God well done! They glorious warfare's
past, The battle is fought, the race won. And thou art
crowned at last."
Funeral services were conducted in her home by Rev.
W. J. Cross of Gladwin and burial was made in Rhodes
cemetery..
