Doyle Asch
Doyle M. Asch, 78, of Gladwin, died March 21, 2006 at Gladwin Pines Nursing Home following a long illness. He was born in Beaverton January 18, 1928 to Frederick and Myrtle (Smith) Asch. He was employed at Dow Chemical of Midland; he lived in the Gladwin area most of his life. He married June Lee January 17, 1948 in Detroit.
Surviving are his daughter, Robin Hickerson of Beaverton; his two sons, Donald and wife, Mary Kay Asch, of Portage, Wis. and Steven and wife, Karmen, Asch of Beaverton; seven grandchildren; six Great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leo Asch of Gladwin and Gordon Asch of St. Louis, Mo.; and several neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, June, in 1978; his parents; his brother Fred Asch; and his sister Yvonne Morley.
A funeral service was held Friday March 24 at Hall Funeral Home in Beaverton. Burial followed at Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetary in Beaverton. Memorial contributions can be made out to the hospice of the donor’s choice or the Michigan Chapter for Multiple Scerlosis.
