SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. ARNOLD

   Mrs. Sarah Arnold, 76, died at her home in Beaverton on Thursday morning, August 28, after an illness of about one month. Funeral services were held at the Church of the Brethren on Saturday afternoon, with burial in the River Lawn cemetery, Isabella county. The Rev. E. S. Hollinger officiated.

   Mrs. Arnold was born in Ohio, on September 6, 1871. She was married to Perry Arnold on May 22, 1907 in Crystal. They made their home in Beaverton for the past 30 years, living in Coleman before coming to Beaverton.

   Surviving besides her husband, are three step-sons, Calvin, of Clare, Albert, of Coleman, and Perley, of Albion; two step-daughters, Mrs. Bessie Stiles of Fredericksberg, Va., and Mrs. Effie Sowles of Eaton Rapids; one brother, Neri Shrider of Butternut.

   Paulbearers were Paul Mishler, Roy McKimmy, Paul McKimmy, John Whitman, Earl Rau, and Clarence Carpenter.
