Albert B. Arnold
Albert B. Arnold, 82, of Beaverton, died Sunday, May 11, at Gladwin Area
Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Blissfield, September 7, 1892, he was a World
War I veteran, and a retired farmer. He had been a resident of Gladwin County for 53 years.
Mr. Arnold and the former Verda Haines, of Coleman, were married March 15, 1919, in Coleman
and she survives him.
Other survivors are a son, Clarence of Beaverton; 5 daughters, Mrs. William (Lenora) Waite of
Detroit, Mrs. Kenneth (Arthell) Haggerty, Mrs. Walter (Ruth) Bills and Mrs. Clifford (Pauline)
Roman, all of Coleman, and Mrs. George (Helena) Adams of Beaverton; 2 sisters, Mrs. Effie Sowles
of Eaton Rapids, and Mrs. Bessie Stiles of Frederickberg, Va.; 22 grandchildren and 17 great
grandchildren.
Services are being held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at Wesleyan Church, Coleman, with the Revs.
Lyle Reynolds and Earl Ritenberg officiating. Burial will be in Warren Township Cemetery. O'Laughlin
Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
