Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Douglas Antcliffe Jr.

   Douglas G. Antcliffe Jr., 70, of Gladwin passed away Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007 at Bay Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

   He was born in Lawrence, Michigan on Nov. 28, 1936 to the late Douglas Sr. and Thelma (Schwem) Antcliffe Doug married the former Mary Ann Miller on April 8, 1956 in Coloma, Michigan. She survives him.

   He served in the Army and was retired from the Bay County Road Commission in 1993. He was an avid hunter and golfer Surviving, besides his wife of 50 years, are their children Mark Antcliffe of West Branch and Michael Antcliffe of Ohio; two grandchildren, Daniel Antcliffe, and Mandy and Tim Foltz; two great-granddaughters, Brinna and Keegan; a brother, Leslie and Pam Antcliffe of Kentwood, and Janice and Dan Cobb of Tennessee Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home with Pastor Reed Schroer presiding, with burial in Pinconning Township Cemetery.

   Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 10 a.m until time of services. Those interested in an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Hope Lutheran Church Building Fund or a charity of choice.
