Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Oscar Anderson

   Oscar Anderson, 85, of Gladwin, died June 20, 2005 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland.

   He was born in Gladwin on May 22, 1920 to Ola and Martha (McMaster) Anderson. He married the former Charlene Witkovsky in Gladwin on Oct. 17, 1980. He lived in Gladwin County his whole life and was owner/operator of Anderson Excavating. He retired in 1971.

   Surviving him are his wife, Charlene Anderson of Gladwin; two sons, Douglas Anderson and Kevin Anderson, both of Gladwin; one daughter-in-law, Gail Anderson of Gladwin; four step-children, David (Ivone) Miller of Gladwin, and Rick (Kris) Miller, Debra (Douglas) Rumminger and Mark (Rhonda) Miller all of Greenville, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Dion Anderson and Vicki Shea, both of Gladwin, and Amber Jones of Midland; 15 step-grandchildren and eight Great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Art Anderson of Gladwin, Iva Peck of Gladwin, Larry Anderson of Arizona and Irene Kure of Mt. Clemens; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his son, Ron Anderson.

   Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 22 at 11 a.m. at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin with Pastor Bryan Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Cemetery in Gladwin.
