Ola Anderson
ILLNESS FATAL TO OLA ANDERSON
Ola D. Anderson, 63, of Butman Township, died Sunday at Veteran's Hospital, Dearborn,
following an illness of six weeks. He was born on July 5, 1897, in Chesaning and was married
to the former Martha McMasters on August 22, 1918, in Detroit. A veteran of World War I, he had
been a resident of Gladwin county 28 years operating a farm in Butman Township.
Survivors include his wife, Martha; three sons, Oscar and Arthur, of Gladwin, and Larry, of
Beaverton; two daughters, Mrs. Iva Peck, of St. Claire Shores, and Mrs. Irene Kure, of Roseville;
four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Payne of Lapeer, Mrs. Lottie Hallett, of Davison, Mrs. Hazel Odle and Mrs.
Ila Gill, of Flint; and fifteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at
the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Henry C. Hall will officiate and burial is in Highland Cemetery.
