David Anderson
David H. Anderson, 83, of Sage Township, died in a Harrison nursing home,
today, Wednesday, October 6, following an illness of several years. Born September 23, 1888,
in Sage Township, Gladwin County, Mr. Anderson had lived his lifetime here. He and the former
Harriette L. Molesworth were married November 14, 1917. A farmer, Mr. Anderson had served as
township clerk at one time and was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his wife Harriette; five daughters, Mrs. Horace (Faith) Griffin, Mrs. Arthur
(Harriet) Schindler, and Mrs. Melvin (Dolores) Winkler, all of Gladwin, Mrs. Arthur (Grace)
Anderson of Midland, and Mrs. Larry (Rita) Hall of Hope; one son, Worth Anderson of Flint; a
brother, William of Florida; 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A son and a daughter
preceded him in death.
Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 9, at 2:00 P.M. at the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin, with
the Rev. John W. Cermak officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery.
