Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice

RITES SATURDAY
PFC. DENNIS W. ALWARD
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at nine o'clock for Pfc. Dennis W. Alward,
25, son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Alward, of Sage Township. Dennis was killed in action while
serving with the armed forces in Korea last February 12. His body has been brought back and will
arrive in Gladwin Thursday. He is survived by his parents and two brothers, Milton and Lawrence,
of Gladwin.
The Rosary will be read Friday evening at nine o'clock at the Hall Funeral Home and the services
Saturday will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, under the auspices of the Veterans of Foreign
Wars. Burial will be made in Highland cemetery.
