Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Doyal Allen

   Doyal Gene Allen, 44, f 1305 N. Spring St., Gladwin died suddenly Monday, June 19, in the Gladwin Area Hospital. Born in Paragould, Ark., on June 29, 1933, he came to Gladwin County a year and a half ago from San Jose, Calif. Mr. Allen was owner of the Greenbriar Village Mobile Home Park and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was married to the former Carlene Radford on August 21, 1971, in San Jose.

   Besides his wife, he is survived by 7 children, Albert, Michael and Angela of Gladwin, Jeanette, Kim, John and Doyal of San Jose; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Allen of Gladwin; 2 brothers, Kenneth of Royal Oak and Ronnie of Utica; and 3 sisters, Mrs. Shelba VanKeighan of Ferndale, Mrs. Delores Hopkins of Madison Heights and Mrs. Jackie Townsend of Rochester.

   Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Donald Bates will officiate and burial will be in the Highland Cemetery.
