David 'Old Day' Aldridge
David Aldridge, familiarly known as "old Davy," who has been around town for
some time past, spending a large portion of his time in dissipation, was found dead in Patterson's
livery barn yesterday morning. He had been to Meredith the day before, indulging in somewhat of a
spree, and on the way home fell from the rig several times, sustaining a number of bruises. an
inquest is in progress as we go to press (Thursday afternoon).
