Glen Alderman
Glen R. Alderman, 57, of Beaverton, died suddenly Dec. 22, 2005 at the MidMichigan Medical Center in Gladwin. He was born Nov. 22, 1948 to Firman and Laura (Markel) Alderman in Holly. He married the former Kim Butcher on Jan. 23, 1976 in Gladwin. He worked as a journeyman millwright operator with the Millwright Local 1102 in Warren. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam. The former Flint resident lived in Gladwin County since 1975 and was a member of the VFW Post 7303 and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Kim Alderman; two daughters, Lisa (James) Burgess of Harrison and Jaime (Cory) Crawford of Sanford; a granddaughter, Brittany Alderman of Sanford; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis (Jeffrey Robin) Alderman of Fenton and James (Diane) Douglas of Birch Run; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Laura Jean Lively. Services were held Dec. 26 at Hall Funeral Home in Beaverton with the Rev. Mark H. Moore officiating. Memorial contributions may be used according to the family.
